IE-RISE convenes practitioners, faculty, industry and public agencies. Sessions range from classroom masterclasses and hybrid GIS workshops to international conferences and exhibitions — including gatherings such as SWWEM (Sustainable Water, Wastewater & Energy Management) and water and waste management forums in Bengaluru. Use this page to see listed sessions, how registration works, and how organisations can partner. Seats for open events are confirmed by email after you register interest. Closed corporate or campus programmes are arranged through Partnerships.

Browse listed sessions
Open events appear below with date, mode (online, hybrid or on-site) and type. If a list is empty, registration is still open by enquiry — we announce new dates by email.

Create an IE-RISE account
Use Register (free) so we can attach your name and organisation to a seat, certificate of attendance (where offered), and joining links.

Register your interest
Open the event page, or write via Contact with the event name, number of seats and whether you need a GST invoice. For group bookings, name a single coordinator.

Confirm and attend
You will receive confirmation, venue or meeting link, and any pre-reading. Bring photo ID for on-site events. Cancellations follow the refund policy.
Registration hints
Is registration free?
Many webinars are free with an IE-RISE account. Conferences, workshops and masterclasses may carry a fee (individual or institutional). We confirm the fee when we acknowledge your interest — there is no charge until you accept the invoice or payment link.
How do I register for an event that is not yet listed?
Use Contact, subject line “Event registration”, and mention the theme (for example water, wastewater, EIA, GIS) and preferred month. We will add you to the waitlist for the next cohort or conference.
Can my organisation send a team or exhibit?
Yes. Group seats, exhibition stalls and sponsored sessions are arranged under Partnerships. Write with organisation name, headcount and whether you need a stall, speaking slot or closed training.
Do I get a certificate?
Attendance or completion certificates are issued for designated workshops, masterclasses and some conference tracks. They are IE-RISE institutional credentials, not government accreditations. Keep the same email you used to register.
Where are on-site events held?
Bengaluru is the usual base (IE-RISE / Institution of Engineers India, Karnataka State Centre, and partner venues such as IISc auditoria for large conferences). Hybrid options are stated on each listing.
